The Artistry Behind the Board
Crafted from exceptionally figured, locally sourced Canadian maple burl, this board celebrates the wild, unpredictable beauty of nature. The intricate, swirling grain patterns of the burl clash beautifully against clean, modern geometry.
Dividing the battlefield is a stunning, custom-poured translucent blue epoxy resin. We’ve meticulously cast the resin to highlight the dramatic "live edge" of the wood. The result is a breathtaking, three-dimensional topography: the translucent blue shifts in tone, appearing as a shallow, sunlit shoreline that plunges into deep, oceanic waters the further down you look.
Crafted to Last Generations
Liquid Glass Finish: The entire board is sealed in multiple layers of premium, crystal-clear epoxy resin. This not only protects the wood but creates a flawless, high-gloss surface that makes the wood grain pop and pieces glide effortlessly.
The Perfect Dimension: At 20" x 20", it offers a commanding presence on any coffee table or study desk, providing ample room for standard and tournament-sized chess pieces.
